Course Description: The Hague (den Haag), known as “The City of Peace and Justice,” is home to many international courts, including The International Criminal Court and the UN International Court of Justice. Students will participate in debates about international justice and see legal argumentation in action. Course activities include observing court proceedings, meeting with court representatives, visiting libraries, touring an international prison where war criminals are held, visiting the Peace Palace, site of the United Nations’ International Court of Justice, day trips to Delft and Rotterdam, Amsterdam portion of the trip includes all the major museums and attractions.
