Program Description:
Program Dates: June 5 -24, 2019

Course: CRJU 490/690: (In)Famous Forensic Science Investigations: The Amanda Knox and Monster of Florence Case Studies (Open to all majors—no pre-requisites)

Approximate Travel Cost: $TBA + airfare (includes accommodations in shared student apartments in Cortona and hotel rooms in Rome and Florence, guest lectures by local lawyers and forensic experts, visits to local attractions, guided tours of Florence and Rome, and some meals)

Tuition: $945

Insurance: $85

Course Description: This course covers forensic science scandals that occur both nationally and internationally, with specific attention focused on the Amanda Knox case.  In addition, students will have the opportunity to tour an Italian police facility and laboratory as well as the Rome Criminology Museum.
