Course Description: Study in Verona, Italy (the city of Romeo and Juliet).
You have unique opportunity to participate in a 21st century Grand Tour through the CSULB/FCSE Study in Italy program. This two weeks long program begins in Verona - the city of Romeo and Juliet, located approximately 75 miles from Venice and 99 miles from Milan and offers weekly excursions to a variety of cities including, Venice and Florence and the neighboring towns of Brescia, Sermione and others. Then students move to Desenzano - a small town located by the beautiful Lake Garda.
Students participate in planned excursions as part of their coursework. More than a 6 field trips and special events, are planned to enhance the value of the lectures and discussions. These trips may include visits to: Venice, Florence, Milan, and other Lombardy and Veneto region towns, textile and clothing manufactures, designer showrooms, and many more!
