Program Description:
Program Dates: May 31 - June 12, 2018
(plus multiple days of class, TBA, at CSULB prior to departure for Spain). 

Course: DANC 373: Nonverbal Communication (GE, capstone)

Approximate Travel Cost: $TBA (includes roundtrip airfare, hotels, land transfers, site tours, breakfast everyday, 24/7 tour guide, and 5 additional meals)

Course Description: This is an upper-division, interdisciplinary course in the field of nonverbal communication. The class will encompass: theory; mind/body functioning; body image; individual movement style; use of personal space; congruence of verbal and nonverbal communication; and enhancement of interpersonal relations through practical application.  There will be ten days of class on campus before departing for Spain.  In Spain, you will apply the concepts learned in class through field trips, meals, and site visits.   You will visit Barcelona, Valencia, Granada, Costa del Sol, Sevilla, Madrid, Toledo.
The travel itinerary includes:
Ø  Round-trip airfare from LAX
Ø  Hotel accommodations for 8 nights in 3-4 star hotels with private bathroom en suite
Ø  Land transportation to EF-arranged activities (train, bus tickets, etc)
Ø  Breakfast daily, 5 local dinners
Ø  Full-time Tour Director to manage all on-ground logistics (checking into hotels, communicating with bus drivers, respond to any emergency scenarios, etc.)
Ø  Guided sightseeing in Barcelona, Granada, Seville, Madrid, and Toledo
Ø  Entrances to Parque Guell, Alhambra, Royal Palace, Seville Cathedral, Prado, Toledo Cathedral, Church of Santo Tome, and Synagogue
