Program Description:
Program Dates: July 22 - August 9, 2019 (one week at CSULB and two weeks in Barbados)

Course: FCS 490: Distilling and Brewing Technology in Barbados

Approximate Travel Cost: $1,570 (includes airfare and all excursion and accommodation costs)  See attached syllabus for details.

Tuition: $945

Insurance: $85

Course Description: This course provides an in depth understanding and practical exposure to fermentation science in the brewing of beer and distilled spirits (i.e., rum) at the oldest existing distillery in the world located in Barbados. This course is opened to ANYONE who would like to globalize their educational experiences and explore Barbados in 3 tiers (Island Safari, Kadooment Festival, Cave Excursion & Submarine Dive).
